PerfectTed’s Small But Mighty Packaging

Objectives

PerfectTed is the number one matcha brand in the world and is the perfect example of a great product paired with incredible brand storytelling. FACER. was tasked to produce a multi-pack from the ground up, to house seven of PerfectTed’s single serve sachets.. It may be small, but it packs a mighty performance.

Solution

A structural design that differentiates within the category and demands attention on shelf, achieved with:

 

– Enhanced stability with feet

– A-frame gable top to add form and interest

– Envelope-style closure for re-use

– Micro-structure crash-lock base for speed of packing and tamper evidence

 

Their distinctive brand green is achieved through Pantone spot colour, digitally controlled colour matching via Pantone X-Rite eXact to guarantee consistency on every shelf.

Isle of Wight Distillery’s Mermaid Gift Packaging

Objectives

With their signature gin’s name inspired by its lead botanical, rock samphire, known locally as ‘mermaid’s kiss’, Mermaid is a refreshing and invigorating serve, for the free-spirited and they approached FACER. to capture this essence in their gift packs. We loved being able to help this much-loved B Corp create a sustainable take on the much-loved miniatures gift pack. Because who wouldn’t want to have this gifted to them!?

Solution

A plastic-free, mono-material structural packaging design that is an invigorating serve to the consumer, achieved with:

 

– A complete paper-based fitment, keeping the bottles secure without any plastic
– Printed with 3 Pantone spot colours, including custom ink formulations you won’t find in any Pantone Guide
– Finished with lustrous KURZ satin gold foil, for that touch of luxury
– Large aperture reveal of the award winning crafted bottles made from recyclable glass

 

The great thing about gift pack structural designs is that they can be used for cross-seasonal occasion gifting throughout the year and house varying combinations of products.

Sana Jardin’s Luxury Perfume Packaging

Objectives

At the heart of Sana Jardin is the concept of the alchemy of energy. This ancient philosophy focuses on harnessing the vibrational energy to promote emotional and spiritual well-being. FACER. was tasked with creating packaging as meticulously crafted and ethically sourced as their ingredients that would carry this energy to their consumers.

Solution

The luxury folding carton that could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Sana Jardin’s wider luxury rigid box packaging range, achieved with:

 

– A separate base and lid, telescopic carton, as a homage to its luxury rigid box packaging counterparts
– Architecturally inspired Moroccan cut-outs, telling the story of the origin of the brand’s ingredients
– Unexpected pops of energy from brand colours that speak further of the origins of the product
– Ethical and sustainable storytelling through selection of recycled, tactile, uncoated board

 

All of the details included in this structural packaging design had luxury and a deep sense of brand storytelling in mind.

Rainbow Dust’s New Packaging Range

Objectives

Rainbow Dust has always had one mission – to help bakers, sugarcrafters, and chocolatiers create unforgettable ‘wow!’ moments. Backed by strong values, a passion for craftsmanship, and a commitment to their community, they’re here to help their community create ‘the wow!’. Rainbow Dust approached FACER. to achieve ‘the wow!’ with their packaging, which was previously a mix of plastic clamshells and plastic blister packs.

Solution

A complete creative overhaul of their entire packaging portfolio, now plastic-free and carrying the heart of the brand:

 

– Retail planogram formats and marketing real estate were retained by the use of a 5th panel folding carton structure designed to the original size of the previous packs
– A parametric structural packaging design that could be adapted across a broad portfolio of primary product sizes
– Shaped aperture reveal capturing the heart of the brand following an evolution to Rainbow Dust’s logo
– The flagship ProGel pack has now been structurally evolved to pack by machine due to an uplift in sales

 

This is another proactive brand using the opportunity of sustainability to completely reinvent the way they package their products and engage their consumers at a higher level.
