MrBeast is arguably the biggest YouTuber with over 500 million subscribers and has a huge food brand: Feastables (just one of the brands under Beast Industries). When MrBeast spoke to Steven Bartlett on his Diary of a CEO podcast he highlighted an early issue he had with his in-store shelf ready presenter for Feastables: MrBeast chocolate bars mistake: how he fixed early packaging failures | TikTok

What is a shelf-ready presenter?

A shelf-ready presenter (SRP) is packaging used to hold and display your products on a shelf in-store. It’s also an opportunity for brands to increase product presentation, consumer interaction and ultimately, consumer sales. Giving you complete control of how your ideal consumer will see your product presented on shelf. Do not leave your product presentation to the shelf gods.

Mistakes made with shelf-ready-presenters

One of the biggest mistakes we see with shelf-ready presenters, which MrBeast fell foul to, is using a generic structural design that doesn’t necessarily suit your product. Shelf-ready presenters need to to be an extension of your product packaging. Ideally you want them structurally designed to perfectly house and perfectly present your product.

Things to consider when designing a shelf-ready presenter

How many of your product do you ideally want to be housed in your presenter?

Remember it is another opportunity to showcase your brand, make it an extension of your product and product packaging.

Make it easy for the both the retailer to use and the consumer to interact with, your SRP needs to seamlessly assemble, beautifully present and easily access your product.

Research your shelf companions, you want to stand out, not blend in.
